School Uniform

We ask parents and carers to fully support our school uniform policy and to ensure that pupils look smart for school. Uniform helps to unite the children as members of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School; encourages them to be proud of the school they represent; helps to avoid peer pressure and distractions relating to clothing and accessories; enables children to look the same regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds; and helps families have a smooth start to the day with no debates about what children are going to wear.

Please click on the link below to access our School Uniform provider’s website.

The School Shop

Uniform can be bought from any retailer and we do have some second hand uniform in school.

Year 6 explored Italy during European Languages Day last Thursday.

The children researched Italy and created their own presentations, discovering more about its culture, traditions and food.

Most importantly, we got to experience a little taste of Italy ourselves. 🍝 We tried three different pasta dishes, Italian bread and some olives, celebrating Italy’s rich food culture and its famous olives.

Year 5 had a fantastic time taking part in a science based Zoom session led by the STEM Learning Foundation, exploring the materials used to create satellites for space.

There was so much excitement, curiosity and enjoyment in the classroom as the children explored the science behind space technology and discovered more about how satellites are designed and built.

Who knows, we might have some future scientists and engineers in the making.

A huge thank you to the STEM Learning Foundation for such an engaging and inspiring learning opportunity.
