Despite the very hot weather, the children showed great enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day, giving their very best in every event. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were a real credit to our school.

Yesterday, Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic range of hands on activities to consolidate their History learning. They became palaeontologists by discovering dinosaur fossils hidden in the sand, archaeologists by carefully extracting chocolate chips from cookies and engineers by designing and building their own junk model rockets.
It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, creativity and teamwork as the children brought their learning to life through play and exploration.
What a brilliant way to end the topic together.

Our Key Stage 2 children had a fantastic day representing our school at the Quad Kids event held at Richmond School and Sixth Form College yesterday.
